Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Reimbursement Specialist

Job Title : Reimbursement Specialist

Location : Cary, NC (Onsite)

Duration : 6-month Contract (with possible extension or conversion)

Pay Rate : $21.50 – $22 / hr

Schedule : Monday – Friday, any shift between 8 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM

Must-Have Requirements :

  • Experience in patient services, reimbursement, or healthcare customer support preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Cary, NC
  • Flexibility to work any shift Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Job Description :

The Reimbursement Specialist provides critical support to patients, physicians, and payors by managing insurance verification, pharmacy claims processing, and reimbursement-related inquiries. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Recognize and effectively communicate different insurance types and their appropriate utilization
  • Accurately document all communications and transactions in Biologics’ Management Information System (MIS)
  • Assist with administrative projects, including annual reverification activities
  • Communicate with patients to obtain and verify insurance information
  • Triage prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or HUB providers when Biologics cannot fulfill the request
  • Process and interpret pharmacy claims in Biologics’ MIS
  • Manage inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and payors regarding patient updates and services
  • Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians
  • Respond to internal written communications and requests received via chat or email
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with management or CRM systems
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in healthcare reimbursement, patient access, or insurance support roles.
