CMA / LPN - Primary Care Clinic
Provides nursing care to patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and backgrounds in clinic setting. Lab and office duties as needed. This role will perform Medicare annual wellness visits, transition of care calls, prior authorizations for medication, and follow-up on no-shows among other duties.
This position is generally scheduled PRN or as needed Mon-Fri 7 : 30a-4p. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Qualifications :
- Successful completion of medical assistant education with a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program and certification with the AAMA, RMA, or NRCMA within 6 months of hire.
- OR
- Current CMA certification with the NCCT, ARMA, or CCMA and completion of a medical assistant education program approved by Broadlawns Medical Center.
AND
Ability to satisfactorily complete Broadlawns Medical Center Pharmacology requirements prior to providing care independently.Ability to successfully pass BLS certification (health care provider), if not already current with certification, prior to providing care independently.Broadlawns Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer
