Clinical Sites Manager, Sargent College, Clinical Education Office
Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences is one of the country's leading schools of health and rehabilitation sciences. The college has more than 35 on-campus research facilities, clinical centers, and labs. It offers top-ranked degree programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech, language and hearing sciences, health science, human physiology, behavior and health, and nutrition. As part of a small, dynamic clinical education team, the Clinical Sites Manager will provide administrative and operational support for clinical education experiences for over 1,200 students in Sargent's undergraduate and graduate programs each year. The Clinical Sites Manager will work to ensure high-quality clinical and experiential education to students, involving compliance, safety protocols, interprofessional training, evidence-based practice, clinical innovation, community engagement, and culturally responsive practice. Reporting to the Associate Director for Clinical Education Administration and working with internal and external stakeholders, the Clinical Sites Manager will help to determine clinical placement needs, and the necessary resources to fulfill them. They will help to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, work with university central offices to minimize risk, and support broader planning, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. The successful candidate must be familiar with and abide by federal and state mandates and be eligible to attain certification as a Massachusetts CORI officer.
