Speech / Language Pathologist

The Avon Public Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for Grades PreK-5 The SLP is responsible for providing speech therapy services according to Individual Education Program (IEP) goals. Additional duties include : 1. Conducting speech and language screenings and evaluating students referred for speech, language, and pragmatic concerns. 2. Effectively share findings with staff and parents through the special education process. 3. Write and maintain Individualized Education Plan goals for students on your caseload including all related documents (I.e. progress reports, amendments etc) 4. Provide direct speech and language services for students on your caseload (small group, push in and pull out) 5. Collect accurate data to monitor student progress on IEP goals and objectives
