Primarily days with some late nights (evenings) and on-call requirements, 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will assist with invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath / EP Lab. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room and sterile field, anticipating needed equipment, and operating instruments while maintaining sterility.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the procedure room and setup sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Anticipate equipment requirements during procedures.
  • Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter / monitor.
  • Maintain organization and sterility throughout procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (preferred ARRT).
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • COVID vaccine card showing completed COVID series.
  • Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, and various other cardiovascular procedures.
