[job_card.job_description]Weekday calls are assigned quarterly, averaging one call shift per month. Weekend calls are available for additional income and can be traded or volunteered for extra shifts. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia program. Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Nurse Anesthetist. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Anesthetist in the state of Texas. No prior experience required-new graduates are encouraged to apply. Administer anesthetic agents to patients for medical and surgical procedures. Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations to develop tailored anesthetic plans. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure stability and prevent complications. Document anesthetic management and outcomes for medical, educational, and legal purposes. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students and trainees. Perform additional duties as assigned.
