Automotive Product Consultants (APC) provides an array of services in the automotive industry and beyond.
Our core service, the APC Follow-Up Program , is a proven system that gives dealerships a second opportunity to sell F&I products to sales and service customers after they have left the dealership.
Principal Purpose of Position
At APC, we are a little different from other call centers — all of our marketing is branded.
We maintain relationships with over 3,000 dealerships and several auto manufacturers that we market on behalf of.
While these dealership partnerships make APC unique, new hires now begin through our CORE team , meaning the majority of calls are direct-to-consumer . You may occasionally receive a small number of overflow calls from dealership partners, but most interactions will be with individual consumers.
As a Sales Representative , you will answer inbound sales calls from branded marketing campaigns and make outbound calls to follow up with these leads.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer inbound sales calls : Manage a high volume of inbound calls (40+ per day) while maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service.
- Make follow-up sales calls : Conduct follow-up calls to customers who have shown interest in products or services, aiming to convert leads into sales.
- Ensure policy compliance : Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance in all sales interactions.
- Share best practices : Collaborate with co-workers and management by sharing successful sales techniques and strategies that contribute to the company’s success.
- Build customer rapport : Strive to develop strong relationships with customers to enhance the overall sales experience and promote loyalty.
- Data entry and documentation : Perform accurate data entry for inbound and outbound calls, recording customer information, interactions, and outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of call center, service contract, or insurance sales experience preferred.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers over the phone.Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Excellent customer service and rapport-building abilities.Skilled at handling objections, resolving problems, and adapting to different sales scenarios.Proficient in data entry and familiar with CRM systems .Highly driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to achieve and exceed performance targets.Compensation & Benefits
Draw vs. Commission Structure : $2,500 per month draw to start.
