Pay Information

$300 to $330 per hour

About The Position

A locum Radiation Oncologist is needed to provide full-time coverage in Muskegon, Michigan. This role involves treating adult patients in a cancer center and hospital-based setting. Providers will work alongside another Radiation Oncologist and an NP, delivering advanced radiation therapies with modern technology.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver a full scope of radiation oncology services, including outpatient treatments.
  • Provide coverage for adult cancer patients in both clinic and hospital settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Perform required procedures such as IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, 3D-CRT, and fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging, and prescribe treatment plans.
  • Document patient care accurately in Aria and Epic EMR systems.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology – Required
  • Active Michigan License or IMLC / LOQ – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required
  • Must be available for scheduled coverage dates – Required
