About The Position

Solid Tumor Oncologist - Physician Job in Boston, MA

Locum Tenens - Solid Tumor Oncologist - Physician

Join our dynamic academic hematology and oncology practice in Boston, MA as a Locum Tenens Solid Tumor Oncologist. This is a 6-month position with potential for extension, focusing on GI oncology and other solid tumor cancer types. Work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary healthcare environment with no call or weekend requirements.

Job Details

  • Location : Boston, Massachusetts
  • Start Date : November 2, 2025
  • End Date : May 2, 2026
  • Shift : 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
  • Hours per Week : 40 hours

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, post-fellowship
  • MD, MD PhD, or DO degree
  • Board Eligible / Board Certified in Medical Oncology
  • BLS certification
  • Licensed or eligible for a medical license in Massachusetts

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oncology care for adult patients
  • Manage solid tumor oncology patients
  • Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and direct new and ongoing oncolytic treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation
  • Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction
  • Adhere to clinic policies and procedures
  • Participate in required meetings or training sessions
  • Stay current with advancements in oncology
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
