About the Role :

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a HHA-PCA Live In in Brooklyn, NY, where you will provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in the comfort of their homes. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve while enjoying a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation needs.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to optimize care.

    • Requirements :

  • Current HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
  • Experience in home health care or a similar caregiving role required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
