Post-operative patients following craniotomies, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries. Patients suffering from hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program . A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery cases, along with medical overflow patients . Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care. Utilize clinical judgment and effective communication to support optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout their care journey. Be part of a supportive team culture that values connection through team-building activities and community outreach. Thrive in an environment that promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care. Assess patient needs, create individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness, involving patients and families in the process. Coordinate discharge plans with an interdisciplinary approach. Evaluate team and patient outcomes, taking action when necessary, and promote governance activities for improvement. Communicate effectively with team members, providing feedback and resolving conflicts. Foster a culture of safety by identifying and addressing potential patient safety issues. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities. Registered Nurse license from the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Completion of an accredited Nursing program. Typically, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Progression in holistic patient care delivery. Ability to respond confidently and flexibly to changing clinical situations. Proficient in electronic medical record systems and other computer applications. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions. Solid organizational and time management skills. Ability to collaborate, delegate, and build a cohesive team. Function adequately in a physically demanding role, including lifting, bending, and reaching. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 40 lbs. Required to wear protective clothing and gear when necessary. Full use of functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch.
