Position Summary:

The Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Services (BJRS) Technician plays a vital role in assisting day-to-day rehabilitation services. Working collaboratively with Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs), the BJRS Technician provides high-quality healthcare under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Your responsibilities as a BJRS Technician will include:

• Administering therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Assisting with patient setup for therapeutic exercises.
• Providing clerical support and managing rehab supplies and equipment.
• Conducting patient check-in/out and scheduling.
• Promoting fitness and wellness while ensuring a positive patient experience.

We are looking for individuals who exhibit a compassionate, patient-centric mindset and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.

Position Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Workplace Experience:

• Experience in patient care services within scope and ethics.
• Professional communication skills.

Skills and Training:

• Knowledge of physical modalities and their application.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to handle equipment and maintain patient confidentiality.

Physical Environment:

• Outpatient rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• Exposure to potential bloodborne pathogens.

Physical Effort:

• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Capable of lifting and transferring patients safely.
• Frequent physical activities including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
