[job_card.job_description]Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams Conduct non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments Interview-based exams with some physical assessment (e.g., range of motion testing, muscle strength testing) Assess Veterans for Traumatic Brain Injury and other general health conditions Submit standardized reporting / disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours post-exam No prescribing, no ongoing treatment PRN basis : Ongoing need for coverage Option to work : Full days (8 hours) Two options for coverage : Schedule Veterans within your own practice No Emergency / Temp Privileges required Quick credentialing and onboarding process No narrative reporting required, only standardized forms (DBQs) Exams primarily focus on assessing physical abilities such as range of motion and muscle strength Goniometer use is required for testing Experience with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio assessments is preferred Proficient in METs testing and evaluating conditions related to respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological systems Physicians must use their own laptop for documentation (NO MACs allowed) Must be Board Certified in one of the following : Neurosurgery PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) State License : Active New York license required Familiarity with Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) is preferred (training will be provided) Ability to submit final DBQ reports within 48 hours of exam completion Flexible scheduling options that suit part-time or full-time availability Opportunity to help Veterans in a non-treatment role Earn CME credits through DMA certification (required if not already certified) Competitive daily rates
