Senior Physician Editor - Cardiology

OVERVIEW

Join us as a Senior Physician Editor specializing in Cardiology, where you will play a crucial role in shaping medical practice worldwide. This position requires a commitment of 80 to 90% of your time to editorial work, leveraging your extensive clinical knowledge and interest in analyzing recent literature. Your contributions will directly impact how practitioners diagnose and manage cardiac conditions.

As a Physician Editor, you will ensure that our content addresses vital clinical questions, present information clearly, and provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations. Extensive editorial training will be provided to equip you with essential skills in evaluating literature and producing content in the UpToDate style, under the guidance of experienced senior editors.

This role allows for clinical practice in 10 to 20% of your time, enabling you to utilize your patient care experience to enhance the relevance and utility of our content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review and edit contributions from external expert authors to ensure clarity and relevance to clinical practice.
• Develop actionable recommendations supported by current evidence.
• Proactively monitor the literature for developments that necessitate content updates.
• Collaborate with external authors, section editors, editors-in-chief, and peer reviewers to ensure the accuracy and neutrality of material.
• Work closely with editorial and graphics assistants to enhance topic presentation.

COMPENSATION :

$173,500.00 - $310,000.00 USD, with eligibility for bonuses based on experience and location.
