Position Overview

We’re seeking an  experienced Roofing Estimator  who is detail-driven, organized, and confident in estimating a wide range of roofing systems — including TPO, shingle, tile, metal, torch down, and coatings. The ideal candidate is proactive, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision and follow-through are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate roofing estimates
• Perform detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors
• Analyze project documents to identify risks, scope requirements, and exclusions
• Prepare clear, professional proposals and bid packages for residential and commercial clients
• Collaborate with sales reps, project managers, and operations to ensure accurate project handoffs
• Maintain organized records of estimates, supplier quotes, and pricing data
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Support business development by providing quick-turn budgets and estimates when needed

Qualifications

✅  Experience :  3+ years of roofing estimating (residential & commercial)

✅  Systems Knowledge :  TPO, shingles, tile, coatings, and flat roofing systems

✅  Skills :  Strong takeoff accuracy, cost analysis, and scope writing

✅  Tools :  Familiarity with takeoff software, Excel / Sheets, and supplier portals

✅  Mindset :  Team player, self-starter, organized, and results-driven

✅  Bonus :  Experience with CRM / estimating tools
