Purpose

  • The main purpose of this position is to drive expansion and tracking of Connected Car business opportunities across Hyundai and Genesis brands.
  • This position is responsible for the growth, forecasting and development of monetization opportunities primarily around the B2B sector and secondarily around the B2C Connected Services spaces.
  • This position is responsible for the tracking and reporting of financial, and growth related KPI’s tied to Connected Services across multiple brands across B2B and B2C spaces to multiple stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth through strategic product development and customer-centric initiatives.
  • Develop business case, return on investment, project proposal for Connected Car related products and services.
  • Develop business plans, manage return on investment, develop growth plans for approved services.
  • Seek various use cases, solicit support and fit to various groups for Connected Car based data and services.
  • Manage and optimize various financial aspects of the business such as revenue (deferred revenue from subscriptions), and many categories of fixed and variable costs.
  • Work with project managers and operational teams to launch integrations with third parties, and enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Manage the business aspects of the project delivery – developing detailed requirements, guiding UI / UX teams and conducting acceptance testing.
  • Set up frameworks and processes for efficient management of the business with the ability to scale.
  • Actively support the team to build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Build and nurture new partnerships to enable new service opportunities, targeted towards increased customer delight and revenue within both the B2B and B2C connected car space.
  • Manage master connected car P&L bridging both B2C and B2B actuals performance and outlook.

    Authority

  • Manage direct report and program business partners / vendors including contractors when needed.
  • Write and specify business requirements.
  • Make appropriate decisions in the absence of the Sr. Group Manager.
  • Become subject-matter-expert for accounting, FP&A and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Create executive level reports and presentations.
  • Education

    ~ Must be a high school graduate

    ~ Master’s degree a plus

    ~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Related Experience

  • Eight or more years of overall enterprise level work experience, of which at least three years is directly related experience within a technology or manufacturing organization.
  • Three or more years of experience working on the KPI measurement / tracking performance measurement side of a connected / tech-focused product suites.
  • Proven record of driving growth and positive change of a complex technology driven product or service.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong strategic planning skills.
  • Strong analytical expertise with ability to identify trends.
  • Skilled in market analysis, competitor assessment, and data-driven decision-making for product enhancement.
  • Expertise in launching new products, setting pricing, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for automotive industry and internet-of-things / connectivity fields.

    $107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual
