Schedule : Full-Time | 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM | On-Call Availability Required

We are a respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Brooklyn, NY , currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This is a key role for a passionate RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to lead clinical care while making a lasting impact on resident outcomes.

Position Overview :

As the RN Unit Manager , you will oversee the clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, supporting care planning, and maintaining communication with residents, families, and medical professionals.

Schedule :

7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM (Day Shift)

On-Call availability required (as scheduled for emergencies and urgent needs)

Qualifications :

Current and valid RN license in the state of New York (Required)

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience , with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting (Preferred)

Prior experience as a Unit Manager or Charge Nurse (Preferred)

Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage staff effectively while maintaining a resident-centered approach

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate daily nursing care on the assigned unit

Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions

Oversee staff schedules, performance, and training

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care plans

Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Provide on-call support during off-hours as needed
