HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a client site in Decatur, IL. All days and shifts are available , including weekends, with a starting pay rate of $25.00/hrpaid weekly.

The EMT is responsible for the safety and security and emergency response at the assigned site in accordance with Sunstates objectives.

Part-Time: All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security.

Shifts:

Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.

• 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating the transport to medical facilities as needed.

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher such as requests for medical assistance following emergency response proceedings.

• Provide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification.

• Determine the nature and extent of illness and injury.

• Report all medical incidents, accidents or emergencies including completing a Daily Activity Log for every shift, describing all activities.

• Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client property.

• Determine procedures to be followed for emergency first aid or assistance.

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid State Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic license.

• Valid CPR/1st Aid Certification.

• Intermediate computer skills and basic technical knowledge.

• Available for weekend hours.

• Must be able to drive and have a valid driver's license.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
