Physician - Family Medicine - Whitehall Primary Care

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) Family Medicine Physician to join our Trinity Health Medical Group, Primary Care - Whitehall team located in Whitehall, MI.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Whitehall is a charming lakeside town in northern Muskegon County, just 5 miles from Lake Michigan and 1 hour away from downtown Grand Rapids
• Outpatient department of Trinity Health Shelby Hospital
• Full-spectrum family medicine in a rural setting
• Office is open Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm. Physician will work 4-4.5 days in office with ability to have either Friday or Tuesdays off
• In addition to primary care, facility offers on-site access to lab, urgent care, life counseling and rehabilitation services
• Family Medicine physician will be part of a collaborative care team that includes 2 physicians, 1 physician assistant and 1 nurse practitioner
• Unrestricted call is rotated with nearby clinics in Hart, Shelby and Ludington
• Opportunity to teach residents, medical students, and fellows

Qualifications:

• Open to new graduates
• Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
• State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
• DEA license
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification.
