Facility And Security Administrator
The Facility and Security Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will :
- Perform facility and security management responsibilities in addition to some general administrative functions
- Perform duties as the Security Assistant as defined in the MDIOC Quad 2400 Security Standard Operating Procedure. (Assisting in training, tracking of physical security training requirements for all quad residents along with the below listed tasks)
- Demonstrate a repeatable cycle of security system auditing and investigation of anomalous activity
- Maintain and manage open storage certification requirements. Provide guidance to occupants on the security classification requirements. Receive, generate, and reproduce classified material up to the SECRET classification
- Coordinate with MDA security department personnel on behalf of the security manager on all physical and information security issues and tasks
- Maintain and train SOP documentation IAW standard MDA procedures
- Perform block captain activities IAW the latest Government SOP
- Perform safe management, including inventories and maintenance of safe combinations
- Conduct physical security activities
- Coordinate across other IRES TOs and manage physical access to the space. Manage visits for personnel not permanently authorized within the footprint (facility inspections, cleaning crews, VIP visits, project-related visits, inventory activities)
- Administrator Duties :
- Perform conference and Video Teleconference (VTC) room scheduling and publish the reservation results
- Assist in coordinating VTC support as needed
- Ensure regular service of all recycle and shredding bins through the MDIOC Service Desk
- Report to the MIDIOC Service Desk when classified and unclassified printers are not operational and facilitate toner and paper replacements
- Perform cubicle change management by tracking and reporting cubicle seating assignments as needed in the applicable database
- Assist in new employee on-boarding
- Perform other administrative assistant duties as required such as occasionally taking meeting minute notes or coordinating meeting attendance and arranging organizational calendars
- Communicating critical updates to the workforce on HR related topics such as facility maintenance, account access, hours, or policy changes
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed to include booking flights, lodging, and transportation and processing of expense reports
- Support coordinating team meetings, training, off-site meetings, and internal events ensuring logistics run smoothly and resources are prepared
- Provide other administrative duties and support as assigned
