Sylvan Learning Center of Lakeland is looking to hire tutors for part-time afternoon hours, including Saturday mornings. Some weekday morning hours are based on demand. Competitive pay depends on experience, subjects that candidates can teach, longevity, and availability.
Required :
- Education degree or 4-year degree with teaching certification to work in subjects such as reading, writing, & study skills
- Four-year degree and experience in high math to teach Algebra, Geometry, SAT / ACT prep OR a Junior / Senior in COLLEGE working in a mathematics or STEM field that can teach higher math to students
