The Role
We are seeking a visionary Director, Creative who thinks beyond the screen and understands the power of physical environments, including retail. In this role, you will be the architect of our clients’ brand’s physical presence, tasked with pushing creative boundaries both expressively and graphically. You will lead a cross‑functional team to deliver distinct brand experiences and ensure brand content and campaign messaging are consistent across all touchpoints, while collaborating onsite with clients on launches.
What You’ll Do
Closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the agency.
Guide the creative team through rigorous conceptual exploration, from "mild" foundational ideas to "wild" boundary‑pushing concepts.
Orchestrate a seamless story across all physical touchpoints, including in‑store digital screens, print collateral, and experiential details.
Partner closely with senior Copywriting to align visual environment with narrative voice.
Establish a robust, scalable design system for clients’ stores, balancing consistency with flexibility.
Infuse physical spaces with expressive design elements, determining how typography, color, and animation function in 3‑D architecture.
Apply strong knowledge of visual design, user‑centered experience design, interaction design, brand development, and the creative process.
Lead internal teams with strategic vision and creative inspiration.
Bring an entrepreneurial and independent spirit combined with a diverse sense of taste.
Demonstrate deep empathy for users, brands, and internal collaborators.
Champion innovation and experimental thinking.
What You Bring
8+ years of creative leadership, focused on experiential design, environmental design, or retail innovation.
Deep understanding of how humans move through and interact with physical spaces, with ability to read and critique floor plans.
A portfolio demonstrating the translation of brand strategy to immersive physical experiences, from concept to‑built reality.
Familiarity with material fabrication, print production techniques, and digital display technologies.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of spatial tools (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.) is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic vision and creative inspiration to large, diverse teams.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and capacity to navigate complex organizations.
Strategic problem‑solving and process efficiency orientation.
