As an Indirect Tax Intern at T-Mobile youll gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of telecommunications taxation. Working alongside experienced tax professionals you will support compliance reporting and research functions while learning how state and local indirect taxes impact a Fortune 100 business. This role is designed to give you practical exposure to tax processes technology and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of indirect tax returns (sales / use telecom gross receipts property tax). Prepare reconciliations and documentation to support monthly and quarterly tax filings.
• Support tax research projects by analyzing statutes rulings and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Help gather organize and analyze data used for tax compliance and audit defense.
• Participate in system testing and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with various tax teams including tax compliance revenue tax consumption tax property tax tax policy and income tax.
• Present findings and recommendations to the Indirect Tax team.

Qualifications

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20 / hour to $40 / hour. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on experience / location.
