Position Overview :

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you will float between various units including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. As a part of our Float Pool, every shift is an opportunity to expand your clinical skills while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Functions :

Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring high safety standards and an excellent patient experience. Engage with patients and families in care planning, adapt to changes in patient conditions, and implement strategies to enhance patient safety.

Licenses & Certifications :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Education :

Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.

Required Experience :

Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Skills & Abilities :

Strong competency in providing holistic care, effective communication, and problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate within a healthcare team.
