Position Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently. Additional responsibilities include patient transportation, contrast agent administration, and occasional general radiography at their off-site facility in Yorkville. This role provides critical diagnostic support for urgent care and hospital-based patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality images using computed tomography technology for routine and complex procedures
• Utilize expertise in operating multi-vendor CT systems, including GE and Siemens platforms
• Transport patients as needed
• Safely administer contrast media to enhance imaging results
• Expand scope of practice by performing diagnostic radiography at satellite locations as required
• Handle emergency and STAT exams efficiently

Qualifications:

• Hold a degree from a radiologic technology program accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA) or equivalent
• ARRT registration
• Hold a valid state of Illinois radiologic technology license
• American Heart Association CPR certification
• Specialized certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is highly desirable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and positioning patients
• Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination necessary for precise equipment operation

Compensation for this role is determined by a combination of relevant factors, including academic credentials, professional background, skillset, internal pay parity, and prevailing industry rates. The salary range indicated is a general expectation, and actual compensation may vary based on specific qualifications and experience.
