Collections Specialist

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for an AR/Collections Specialist to join our growing Team. This is a high volume and fast paced position so the ideal candidate must work well in this type of environment. Important qualifications for this position is skilled multitasker, is proficient in Excel, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. This position is based in Vacaville, CA

Position responsibilities:

• Composes emails and makes collections calls to customers

• Develops and maintains relationships with customers

• Reconciles customer payments (checks, credit card, electronic)

• Researches and solves payment discrepancies by investigating information from various departments

• Makes adjustments to customer accounts as needed

• Building and keeping files organized

• Completing task as needed in a timely manner

• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

• Experience with high volume collections

• 2-3 years’ experience as a collector

• Must have experience in accounts receivable or collections

• Previous experience in construction and/or new home building is a plus

• High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred

• Must have strong work ethics • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

• Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch,

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
