IT Manager | Permanent | On-Site | No Sponsorship Available

  • Our client is a leading, growth-oriented company operating a 24 / 7 industrial environment with corporate and production technology footprints.
  • The role is on-site in the Greater Madison, WI area, supporting high-availability enterprise systems in a fast-paced setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT MANAGER

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on leadership across IT domains : desktop support, cybersecurity, ERP, infrastructure, and networking
  • Manage core technology infrastructure and business-critical systems
  • Administer network and security appliances (switches, firewalls, routers)

    • Security and Compliance

  • Security and Compliance
  • Lead enterprise security administration
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Conduct compliance audits and manage enterprise licensing
  • Create and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans

    • Team and Performance Management

  • Team and Performance Management
  • Lead IT team with accountability for performance and responsiveness
  • Provide coaching and performance management
  • Monitor team performance against internal SLAs
  • Recruit and develop high-performing technical talent

    • Strategic Alignment

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders
  • Align IT strategy with corporate objectives
  • Communicate IT status to stakeholders

    • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT MANAGER

  • Prior experience leading enterprise IT team
  • Expertise in ERP, Security, and IT Operations
  • Prior experience overseeing teams of 5+ employees and doing performance managmeent
