Position Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this position oversees the daily activities of the medication use process and provides comprehensive pharmacy services to patients from neonate to young adulthood. Performs the duties of a graduate intern or pharmacy intern as defined in the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Administrative Code R4-23-402, and by Phoenix Children`s Pharmacy department. This position reports to the Outpatient Pharmacy Manager and receives supervision from Clinical Staff Pharmacists and the Lead Pharmacist.
Education
- Current licensure as a Pharmacy Intern or Graduate Intern with Arizona State Board of Pharmacy (Required)
Experience
Near completion of all experiential training programs required for Intern licensure as defined in R4-23-301, A. through E. of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Administrative Code. (Required)Certifications
Current licensure as a Pharmacy Intern or Graduate Intern with Arizona State Board of Pharmacy (Required)Prepared to sit for the NAPLEX or AZPLEX exam. (Preferred)Special Skills
Experience with various types of computer software, including MS Office Suite or equivalent. (Required)Demonstrated excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills. (Required)Demonstrated ability to deliver superior customer service and work professionally with other staff. (Required)
