As a Security Officer - Aero Access Control in Troy, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, managing entry points, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate : $19.05 / Hour

Day Time Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting all security-related activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks, noting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Operate access control systems and check identification credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
