Job Description : Position Details : Work Schedule : Sunday Thru Thursday Start Time : From 2 : 30pm to 11pm, except Sundays from 6am to 2 : 30pm Pay Rate : From $15 per hour and up based on experience. Follows safety and sanitation rules while keeping the work area clean and organized. Major Functional Responsibilities : Process & pack meat products to order schedule specifications either by hand or by various machines including but not limited to slicer, marinade tumbler, tenderizer, mixer, etc. Inspect, weigh & prep meats (beef, pork and / or lamb) to various specifications Sharpen and adjust cutting / processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment. Receive and inspect meat. Maintain proper stock levels on production line. Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.) Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, USDA, SQF procedures, etc. and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements Able to work in refrigerated environments, approx 40F Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management. Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications : Education : High school diploma or general education degree Experience : 1 year of experience in Fast-paced production environment or other related experience such as; handling food, manufacturing, prep cook, line worker or other related experience. Physical Requirements : Lifting up to 80lbs, pushing / pulling up to 80lbs. Skills : Ability to work in cold and wet environments. Continuous fine hand manipulation including grasping, reaching, holding, carrying, etc., must be able to bend, stretch, reach overhead and climb. Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail. Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise. Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to perform basic math skills.
