Sanitation Worker

PrideStaff is looking for experienced Sanitation Technicians!

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in Sanitation within a food processing plant.

Job Duties :

A Sanitation Technician's job is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in various food processing plants. This involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, facilities, and surfaces to meet safety and hygiene standards. They may also be responsible for waste disposal, equipment maintenance, and following specific sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks of a Sanitation Technician :

Cleaning and Sanitizing :  This is a core duty, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas as needed.

Waste Disposal :  Handling and disposing of waste materials according to established procedures.

Equipment Maintenance :  Ensuring cleaning equipment is in good working order and performing basic maintenance.

Following Sanitation Protocols :  Adhering to specific cleaning schedules, procedures, and regulations.

Safety Compliance :  Following safety guidelines and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

Reporting Issues :  Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs.

Environment :

Must be comfortable in non-temperature-controlled environment

Occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions

Must have experience using pressure washers and working with a variety of chemicals.

8, 10 and 12 hour shifts may be required.

Overtime will be mandatory when requested.

Weekends will be required.

Schedule example : 5pm to 5am

Schedule example : 11pm to 7 : 30am

Pay : $16.90 and up depending on experience
