Water Fitness Instructor

About the Opportunity:

Water Fitness Instructors have the power to change lives by leading water arthritis classes focusing on safety, fitness and creating an enjoyable environment for participants. Water Fitness Instructors utilizes swimming aides safely and effectively to allow for a variety of movement and activities during class.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead water arthritis group classes to adult
• Be a role model for water safety
• Create a fun and welcoming environment for participants
• Be prepared, ready and able to follow protocol in case of an emergency
• Embrace and model the JCC Internal Service Standards of Respect, Gratitude, Communication, The Golden Rule, and Ownership/Accountability

What you bring to the table:

• Experience in teaching arthritis classes preferred
• Ability to follow an emergency action plan
• Friendly, professional, patient and empathetic
• Team player
• CPR/AED and first-aid certified or obtain within 6 months of employment
