The Opportunity :

CACI is looking to hire a full-time Software QualityEngineerinthe Herndon, VA or ThousandOaks, CAarea.

To qualify for this position, a candidate must have at least 2 years of experience designing andimplementingautomated software test systems for real-time web-based and native applications. Candidate must be an independent, critical thinker with a focus on using technology to scale testing to meet the demands of an evolving set of products.

U.S. Citizenship is required, and successful candidates must be willing and able to obtain a security clearance and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities :

The candidate in this position will perform many duties including the following :

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts and manual test procedures
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

The proposed salary range for this position is :

$63,300-$129,700
