Anchor Bolt Machine Operator

Location : NW Portland, OR

Pay Rate : $22.50 / hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an Anchor Bolt Machine Operator to set up and operate heading machinery used in the production of large anchor bolts and construction fasteners. This role involves heating steel rods to extremely high temperatures and forming hex heads through a forging process. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

Job Duties

• Set up and operate heading machines to forge bolt heads
• Heat steel rods to approximately 2,000°F using induction heating coils
• Form hex heads on anchor bolts and fasteners
• Inspect cooled, finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Manually handle and lift steel rods weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
