Position Summary :
The Regional Pharmacy Administrative Manager supports multi-site long-term care (LTC) pharmacy operations by coordinating vaccines, automation systems, compliance activities, supplies, equipment, licensing, and emergency preparedness across the region. This role ensures administrative consistency, regulatory readiness, and operational alignment across all supported pharmacy sites. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the items listed below.
Responsibilities : Vaccine Management :
- Serve as the primary contact for ordering and distributing vaccines across all regional sites.
- Coordinate annual influenza and other vaccine orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery to facilities.
Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS) Coordination :
Coordinate the ordering, installation, and setup of ADS machines for new and existing facilities.Upload and maintain accurate nursing rosters into ADS systems.Serve as the main point of contact with BD and other ADS vendors for troubleshooting and support needs.Audit & Compliance Support :
Assist pharmacy sites in preparing for insurance audits and payer reviews.Provide documentation, reports, and operational support to meet federal, state, and payer compliance requirements.Apply for Emergency Kit (E-Kit) licenses for new facility starts and maintain oversight of all active E-Kit licenses region-wide.Track and maintain all employee licensure requirements, ensuring timely renewals and regulatory compliance.Equipment, Supply, and Cart Management :
Coordinate pharmacy cart deliveries for new facility launches.Manage monthly supply orders for all regional sites.Collaborate with facility maintenance teams to resolve service requests involving pharmacy-related equipment.Emergency Preparedness :
Develop, update, and oversee regional emergency preparedness procedures and protocols.Ensure full compliance with state and federal emergency planning requirements for all sites within the region.Qualifications :
Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy or healthcare operations preferred.Familiarity with ADS systems, emergency kits, and pharmacy regulatory requirements.Strong administrative, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple pharmacy locations.Proficiency in spreadsheets, tracking systems, and cloud-based operational platforms.Work Environment :
Regional travel may be required.Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-state LTC pharmacy environment.EEO Statement :
