Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Infusion Pharmacy Technician experienced in home infusion settings. This contract-to-hire role offers the chance to apply your specialized knowledge in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. If you have a background in infusion pharmacy technician duties and IV certification, this position will put your expertise to great use in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Location : Huntington Station, NY

Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile infusion medications in pliance with established protocols
  • Manage and maintain infusion supplies and equipment accurately
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure timely medication delivery
  • Monitor and document medication inventory to support the infusion process
  • Maintain stringent aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns related to infusion therapy

    • Desired Experience and Qualifications :

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV certification
  • Proven experience in home infusion pharmacy settings (hospital IV experience alone is insufficient)
  • Strong understanding of sterile pounding and infusion preparation procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and munication skills

    • This is a hands-on role offering a 13-week initial contract with the possibility of hire based on performance. Immediate start is preferred to join a team mitted to delivering top-tier infusion pharmacy services.
