About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 91-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa. Starting Dec 22, 2025, this role features both day and night 12-hour shifts with a variable schedule, covering emergency care, inpatient, and skilled care procedures. This position requires an active IA license, board certification in Emergency Medicine, and current DEA and CSR credentials.

    • Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency care to patients across inpatient and skilled care settings
  • Perform clinical procedures consistent with Emergency Medicine standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
  • Adhere to established protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • Active Iowa license required
  • DEA and CSR required prior to start
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
