The Department of Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine delivers high-quality, patient-centered primary care services with a strong emphasis on medical education at both the undergraduate (UME) and graduate (GME) levels.

Opportunity :

• Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Provider to join the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine
• Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to adult patients in an outpatient setting
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe and manage medications, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and wellness
• Teaching and mentorship opportunities available within the university's medical education programs
• EMR system utilized for all documentation and care coordination
