“A Day in the Life”
As a Service Technician you will maintain modular equipment in the field at customer sites. You will perform problem solving maintenance for but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also perform routine maintenance and construction in the field of modular buildings. Update and record information on company assets and systems. “What You’ll Do”
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical in the fieldPerform maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systemsInstall new HVAC units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelinesResponsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locationsResponsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company’s reputation is improved with every customer contactMaintain inspection log(s) for equipment / vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standardsAbility to safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and proceduresDeliver a high quality output consistent with the Company’s construction standardsOperate Company vehicle with GPS and camerasAble to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans providedAble to work outside in variable weather conditionsAbility to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned“Must Haves”
