Accounting Professional

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Professional to join our NAFSC Accounting team. This role involves collaboration with various Accounting and Business departments to provide business-related accounting items and support to multiple teams. The position also includes coordination of activities for Defense finance teams due to the sale of a portion of the marine business to an external buyer.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide accounting details and documents for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and cash items to the Defense finance teams or buyer as requested.
• Coordinate and manage data requirements for the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group.
• Complete reconciliations, review journal entries, and perform other ad hoc accounting activities as assigned by management.
• Collaborate effectively across Accounting and Business teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
