As a Security Officer - Armed Commercial Estate Patrol in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This armed position offers the opportunity to interact with visitors and staff, respond to situations as they arise, and uphold our values of integrity, agility, and teamwork in a dynamic environment where people always come first.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any irregularities or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required, following all company and site-specific guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
