Topaz, a leading Nursing Home Financial Services company located in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in healthcare financial operations.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Support monthly and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile bank accounts and vendor statements.
Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation.
Assist senior accountants with audits, cost analysis, and special projects.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
0–2 years of accounting experience (internships or healthcare experience a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional financial environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
