A day in the life in Dallas–Fort Worth

You start your morning with a clear route across DFW, company phone and laptop in your bag, and a fuel card that keeps you moving. Your schedule is built around a standard 40-hour week aligned to business hours (with flexibility as needed), and your nights are largely spent at home—minimal overnight travel and no weekends.

Each day brings a different facility, a new project, and a fresh challenge : commissioning a turning center in the morning, troubleshooting a 5-axis VMC in the afternoon, or dialing in an automation cell. We cut the administrative clutter so you can focus on what you do best—keeping world-class machine tools running and delighting customers. You’ll have a car allowance, company cell, laptop, and covered fuel to support your success.

What you’ll do

• Own day-to-day field service across the local market : installations, corrective service, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose issues, restore uptime, and support sales initiatives; provide light customer training where appropriate.
• Communicate with operators, engineers, and leadership with clarity and professionalism.
• Represent Ellison Technologies ethically and consistently with our business standards.
• Manage cases and projects end to end, maintaining accurate records and technical documentation.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

What you bring

You’ve installed, maintained, and / or repaired CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers, and you’re comfortable across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Primarily local field work across Dallas–Fort Worth with minimal nights away during the week and no weekends.
