This is a hybrid role, requiring at least one day per week in the office, with additional onsite time as business needs arise.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee financial operations, lead a high-performing team, and continuously improve systems and processes. This role blends technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic thinking.
What you’ll do :
Lead, coach, and develop an accounting team with a focus on growth and accountability
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring clarity around roles, priorities, and escalation
Own the monthly close, financial reporting, and budgeting cycles, delivering accurate and timely results
Lead annual audits, tax filings, and estimated tax payments
Maintain and enhance accounting policies and internal controls aligned with organizational goals
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Oversee revenue accounting activities, including billing, rebates, collections, and member-facing processes
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making
Partner with internal teams and stakeholders with a service-oriented mindset while maintaining strong financial discipline
What You Bring
You’re a confident, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building structure, developing people, and solving problems.
You have :
5+ years of experience leading accounting teams, including close and control oversight
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices
Experience supporting audits (minimum 2 years preferred)
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting technology
Excellent communication, coaching, and decision-making skills
Comfort working with multiple revenue streams or complex transactions
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (CPA preferred)
