WELDER
We are looking to fill a Welder position. Know methods used for welding a variety of materials and componentsInspects equipment and structuresWeld on pipe from any position (i.e., standing, kneeling, lying down on side or back, and in all these positions from a scaffold)Handle and use portable electric or air grinders and buffers, pre-heating equipment and hand wire brushesFollows sketches and specificationsComplete all required written tests, hands-on training, and Operator Qualification modulesFollows safety protocol, including wearing heat resistant gloves, protective mask, and safety glassesFollow all safety protocol for customers, local, state and federal regulations, safety and emergency practices and proceduresSecure work site at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materialsTravel as neededAdditional duties assignedKEY QUALIFICATIONS :
Able to weld according to required specificationsAble to pass welding testDOT Medical Card - If driving company vehicleValid Driver's LicenseThorough understanding of OSHA requirements and safe working practicesExcellent communication skills - both oral and writtenExcellent reading skillsThe physical activity required for this role includes :Moving around, under, and over pipes
Moving over uneven and variable terrain or in confined spacesEnter and exit trenches by either a ladder or a rampExposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weatherExposure to loud work environmentsStanding, sitting, or walking for long periods of timeOther repetitive movements, such as kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reachingRepeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)Correctly wearing protective gearPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkThis role is accepting applications until 12 / 30 / 2025
