Job Summary :
The Access Consultant provides and coordinates services for students with various disabilities including, but not limited to, learning disabilities, psychological disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder (with or without Hyperactivity), and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Make referrals to resources, evaluates and assesses student needs using a variety of methods. Serves as a member of the Special Population team and as a resource for faculty and staff concerning disability accommodation. The person in this position will serve as the team expert for assistive technology and provide support and leadership for department student employees, as needed.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and / or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Significant related professional work experience.
Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Minimum of 4 years (full-time equivalent) of higher education professional experience.
Minimum of one year of technology-related experience.
Minimum of two years' experience working with person with disabilities.
