Responsibilities

SUMMARY

This role will be the primary contact for product tooling or technical questions for their assigned customer. This position is located at our aerospace forged rings manufacturing plant in Fontana, California and will involve working collaboratively with Process, Metallurgical and Design Engineers, Operations, and other office personnel to develop, maintain and improve quality of the product to ensure customer requirements are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. • Review NPI and process change jobs to ensure that the process defined by Metallurgy and Tooling Engineering meets customer technical requirements before release to manufacture.
• Review rework jobs against approved fixed processes before release to manufacture.
• Disposition and determination of RCCA for process non-conformances.
• Initiate and execute process / cost improvement projects.
• Review of new and revised technical (material, process, quality, etc) specifications, tooling prints as necessary.
• Work with vendors to order new tools and / or repair tools.

PAY RATE

$70k - $85K depending on experience
