Efficiently and safely handle materials, ensuring accurate inventory control while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with a diverse team of experts on innovative solutions that promote sustainability, optimize operations, and adhere to strict safety standards. Shifts are from Wednesday 4 : 30 pm to 10 : 00 pm, and Thursday to Saturday 10 : 00 am to 10 : 00 pm. Hours after 5 : 00 pm are paid at $24.22 / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Adhere to written work instructions for accurate and safe task execution.
• Utilize necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and promptly report potential safety or quality concerns.
• Perform accurate quality control checks on incoming materials to maintain high product integrity.
• Convey materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on sequences such as size, temperature, type, style, or product code.
• Unload materials, verify paperwork, note discrepancies, and distribute items to recipients.
• Assemble paperwork from customer service representatives and place orders on pallets or designated locations.
• Mark materials with identifying information and securely and efficiently ship skids.
• Use computers for inter-company correspondence, download temperature recorder data, and verify temperature control within specifications.
• Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move, store, or retrieve materials while following safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service center by picking up and disposing of trash.
• Uphold safety and security standards by reporting any irregularities in the service center to management.
• Be available during holidays or outside regular shifts if needed.

Work Environment :

Work takes place in a warehouse environment within a chemical logistics company that streamlines the chemical supply chain. The warehouse is organized and clean, with about five forklifts operating simultaneously. The work area is busy with numerous deadlines and products to move, requiring awareness of surroundings. Must be comfortable working with heights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
