Role Overview :
The Surgical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring quality patient care in alignment with CHA protocols and standards. You will assist surgical providers and circulating nurses, prepare surgical equipment, maintain a sterile environment, and support surgical procedures.
Our Perioperative Services encompass various specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Vascular, and Endoscopy, among others. Join our experienced surgery team that has performed thousands of procedures, providing state-of-the-art care in our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and provide surgical equipment to support the surgeon during procedures.
Maintain sterile techniques and conditions within the operating room.
Assist in the overall success of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Participate in the on-call rotation, ready to respond during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program.
American Heart Association BLS certification and Certified Surgical Technician certification are mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years of current surgical technologist experience is preferred.
