Vice President of Operational Risk

A company is looking for a Vice President of Operational Risk Management to lead the operational risk framework and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the Operational Risk Management Department and align it with business objectives

Maintain and enhance the operational risk management framework, policies, and controls

Conduct independent operational risk assessments and establish Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 10+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services, with at least 5 years in mortgage servicing

Proven leadership experience in managing risk programs and cross-functional teams

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and investor servicing guidelines

Experience with risk control self-assessments (RCSA) and internal control design
